In December 2011, through wind and rain, the Clean Living volunteers picked up trash along the sidewalks and boulevards of Campbell River. Armed with 5 gallon buckets, we filled them several times each. We are happy to report that the garbage tongs are also very useful for picking up as many as four cigarette butts at a time.

One of our volunteers said, " the more i do the more i find."

We've changed the winter clean-up schedule to 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. so that we can at least see the garbage, and perhaps encourage more participation.
